Boamistura is a multidisciplinary group set up in Madrid at the end of 2001 whose roots lie in graffiti. They create their work in a wide variety of areas: from the most advanced graffiti and mural painting trends to illustration, graphic design and collaborative work with interior designers and architects.
Their work has been displayed at the Reina Sofia National Museum, the Casa Encendida and the DA2 Museum in Salamanca. They have also collaborated with the ONCE, Intermon Oxfam, Red Cross and Antonio Gala foundations. Boa Mistura, which means "good blend" in Portuguese, refers to the diversity of styles and points of view of each member of the group.
