Andi graduated in fine arts at the University of Granada and has won the Fernando QuiƱones Award twice. In 2005, he co-founded Emotive Project, an audiovisual experimental group, where he carries out animation, illustration, graphic design, video and art projects for clients like the Malaga Spanish Film Festival. He subsequently went on to set up his own studio in Madrid (RD2) where he, together with his brother Carlos Rivas, is involved in artistic and creative direction, graphic design and video projects and combines these activities with his more personal artistic career. He is currently interested in street art and doing projects that go beyond the walls of his studio.
